A moment to pause and reflect

Its been a couple of days now and the pictures of Ivan's devastation are all over the place. It would be appropriate now to say a prayer for the people who didn't make it through and for the many many people dealing with the devastation first hand.

Please help any way you can. Donations to the American Red Cross are particularly important at this time. All those people who boarded up their homes and didn't feel any wind or rain, take a minute to be grateful and turn that thanksgiving into action by reaching for the check book. Its a karma thing.

Hug your kids and kept the people affected by Ivan in your prayers in the next weeks. Also keep one eye on the weather until November.
